Eric Watson and Pet Shop Boys

I know I said that my next blog post would be about cinematographers, but first I feel I should do this tribute to Eric Watson, who just passed away. He was a photographer at Smash Hits in the UK in the 1980s, and he worked with Pet Shop Boys. Neil Tennant, one half of Pet Shop Boys, was an old friend of Watson (Tennant was also a writer and assistant editor at Smash Hits) and together they created Pet Shop Boys' visual profile.
